When I was assigned with taking care of dessert for Thanksgiving Dinner - ideas immediately started brewing. I knew the dinner menu was probably going to at the least consist of turkey, crazy amounts of stuffing and sweet potato mash - pretty heavy stuff. I can feel the tryptophan work through me just thinking about it. Anyways, I was going to make homemade pumpkin or pear pie - but I wanted to go light this time around and so I instead made pumpkin ice cream and dark chocolate cherry and nut bark. I’m always a stickler for presentation (of which I probably got from my mother) and so I served the ice cream in baby pumpkins with graham crackers (pumpkin pie anyone?) and broke the chocolate in sharp glass-like pieces.
The reviews? Absolutely raving.
Great choreography + the history of East London fashion.
